Keeping On is a ministry of the Cabot UM Church and a PFOX affiliate available at NO COST.
What is Keeping On?
Our mission is to provide encouragement,
support, understanding and education to family members whose loved ones struggle with the complex issue of homosexuality.
Our goal is to enable the family member to have the courage to be open and honest so they can properly
deal with homosexuality as a family issue.
Who Should Attend?
Keeping On is a support group for families dealing with issues surrounding homosexuality. We provide a safe haven for families as they
open their hearts and wait on the Lord.
Keeping On Agenda
We meet twice monthly in a private home and in this setting share our concerns in strict confidentiality. We educate family members
on the root causes of homosexuality through personal testimonies, individual sharing, written materials and a variety of audio-visual resources.
We discuss such topics as:
How to Pray for Those Involved in Homosexuality
Trusting God
Healthy Boundaries
Change Is Possible
Understanding Pro-Gay Theology
We take time to laugh and remind ourselves that God is in charge. We pray.
When and Where
Keeping On meets the first & third Saturdays of each month 9-11 AM off site in the Butler area.
